Telehealth/Virtual Counseling

Telehealth is a way of counseling via video conferencing/chat through a secured HIPAA compliant clinical platform.

For Telehealth to work, you will need to have a device with a camera and microphone. Telehealth platforms include "Simple Practice - Telehealth" and as a backup Doxy.me.

If you wish to utilize EMDR, you will need a laptop, PC, iPad, or Tablet.

I have successfully used Telehealth throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Though face-to-face in-office counseling is the most evidence-based backed approach to counseling, Telehealth can be more than a viable and effective second option for those who, for whatever reason, cannot meet face to face.
